Salford Skills and Work Board

The Salford Skills and Work Board was launched in December 2013. The Board, working with a wider network of employers and education, training and employment providers, has senior partnership responsibility for policy, strategy and progress in relation to improving the economic well-being of young people, adults and families in Salford, by addressing low skills, worklessness and family poverty.

It is also the strategic Board for the local implementation and integration of Greater Manchester work and skills programmes. The strategic priorities of the Board are detailed within the Salford Employment and Skills Strategy (Adobe PDF format, 1.1mb).
