Salford School Partnership
Salford School Partnership is the way we work together in Salford to help children, young people and families earlier in schools.
We know that if a family gets help sooner, they stand a better chance of improving their situation and preventing the need for longer term support or statutory intervention. Salford Schools Partnership is an opportunity for schools to identify children, young people and families with emerging needs, meaning that partners can act early to get the advice and support in place that will enable the family to thrive. By working together with the family in a strengths-based
Based on a ‘team around the school’ approach, Salford School Partnership brings together a range of different partners to work collaboratively. They talk and share ideas about how to give early help and support to children, young people, and their families. They make a plan that builds on the strengths of the family, their school and their community and connects them with the right advice or support. This means children, young people and their families receive the advice or help they need, as soon as they need it, from the people best placed to help them.
